Alicia Taylor has been studying guitar for over 20 years since around the age of 3. She attended Middle Tennessee State University as an education major, and she later attended the McLean School of Music at MTSU as a Guitar Performance and Composition double major. Alicia has performed live on the "General Jackson" riverboat in Nashville, and she has been a member of various bands and quartets. She is daughter of guitar master and composer John Michael Goats, former member of the Southern Rock band "Rockytop."

Alicia Taylor is married, and she is the proud parent of three children.
